Each year millions of American’s resolve to make it their healthiest year yet. However many fail due in part due to lack of support and not knowing how to properly begin their journey. Well this year, Whole Foods Market Detroit and the Whole Cities Foundation is working to make becoming the best you a little simpler. On February 8, join them as they kick off the “2016 Healthy Eating Challenge” with a special guest lecture, Eat Clean, Get Lean and Burn Fat with celebrity weight loss guru, Dr. Ian Smith.

Smith is best known from his appearances on the Emmy winning daytime talk show, The Doctors and VH1’s highly-rated Celebrity Fit Club. He is also author of the # 1 New York Times Bestseller Shred: The Revolutionary Diet and Super Shred: The Big Results Diet.

On Monday, February 8, the Healthy Eating Challenge will kick off at the Detroit School of Arts, as Dr. Ian launches the annual Detox Challenge. In his latest book, The Shred Power Cleanse, Dr. Ian has carefully designed an accessible, realistic and flexible two-week program that will help you eliminate toxins and jumpstart a healthy new lifestyle.
