Atomic Chicken Launches Story Creation Contest

Create the Atomic Chicken Story. ­ Submissions are now being accepted! ­ Are you a storyteller? Creative? Here is your opportunity to be involved with the latest Detroit restaurant to hit the scene Atomic Chicken.

Atomic Chicken is opening in Detroit’s historic North End neighborhood this summer and they’re looking for a little help to tell the tale of their fearless Atomic Chicken, Adam. This new locally owned chain will open its other location in Clawson this spring where Adam’s sister chicken Fay resides. So what is the story of Fay and Adam? Only you know so get creative and be prepared share your story of a lifetime.

Two locations. One story. The contest is now open. Submit your stories of 500 words or less to atomicchickendetroit@gmail.com by Monday, April 11 at 5 p.m. EST. Winner of the story contest will receive a $250 gift card from Atomic Chicken, naming rights as the official story creator of Atomic Chicken, and the story will be published on the Atomic Chicken websites. Atomic Chicken locations are scheduled to debut spring 2016.

Atomic Chicken, chicken with attitude hatches this summer at 6500 Woodward Avenue, Detroit Michigan, 48202. They will be open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Please visit them online at www.atomicchickendetroit.com.

Be engaged and get informed! Join M-1 RAIL as we host the March Community Advisory Council Meeting Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Triumph Church’s East Campus. The countdown to M-1 RAIL passenger ridership is on and there will be some adjustments to how you navigate the corridor. Please join M-1 RAIL for an important community conversation to learn about QLINE operations, testing schedule and the launch of our public safety education campaign.

This special CAC meetings will cover driving, cycling and walking along the Woodward Corridor, as we all now share the road. There will be a light dinner served and children’s activities will be available. There will also be sign language interpretation services available for community members who are deaf or hard of hearing. This meeting is open to ALL.
