Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation Hosts Career Fair for QLINE Openings

On Wednesday, November 9, Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation (DESC) will host a QLINE Career Fair at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the east side community hub and resource center, The Samaritan Center. Learn more about the services offered by DESC and receive resume writing assistance, interviewing skills assessment and training and more. Applications will be taken onsite and representatives from the QLINE will be present to answer questions.

Each session will last for approximately two hours. Please bring both an electronic or hard copy of your resume, valid driver’s license, in addition to three references and contact for your employers over the last ten years. Applicants will be competing for two positions, Streetcar Operator and Vehicle Maintenance Technician.  These full time positions will begin in late December and wages start at $25 and $16 dollars per hour. Both positions will provide full benefits.
