Midtown McDonalds Gives Back with Coats for Kids

Posted: 11/06/15

On Saturday, November 7, please support community champion and Midtown McDonald’s owner operator, Ms. Deborah Virgiles and WJLB FM-98 for the 33rd Annual Coats for Kids. Kicking off at 10 a.m.  at the historic Masonic Temple, volunteers will be on hand to collect new and gently used coats and other winter gear for Detroit children in need this season.

In previous years, the coat drive in partnership with the Salvation Army, has helped many children stay warm during brutal Michigan winters.  This year’s event will host live performances by Omarion, Dej Loaf, Lil George, Neisha Neshae, Icewear Vezzo, Foolboy Marley, Charli Baltimore, Sino, M City  J,R and Ro Spit.

You can help keep a child warm this winter by making your donation at the Masonic Temple, located at 500 Temple Street, Detroit, MI 48201 between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.  For more information on Coats for Kids please visit www.fm98wjlb.com or stop by McDonald’s located at 4235 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48201.
