MO POP comes back to Detroit for a Second year!

The Mo Pop Music  Festival returns to West Riverfront Park this weekend. Featured artists include G-Eazy, M83, Haim, The Head and the Heart, Matt and Kim, Glass Animals, Father John Misty, The Greeting Committee and more!

In addition to the performances, there will be a food truck rally, Riverside Biergarten, Craft Bazaar and the Mo Tech area which includes interesting technology from local hacker spaces, artists, start-ups, and inventors.

The price for general tickets are $89.50 and general 4-pack tickets are $299.

Mo Pop, in its fourth year on the West Riverfront, has been host to Modest Mouse, Passion Pit, The Front Bottoms, City and Colour, Young the Giant, Manchester Orchestra, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Jamaican Queens and many others. The festival moved from its previous location at Freedom Hill to 1801 W. Jefferson at the West Riverfront Park.

Be engaged and get informed! Join M-1 RAIL as we host the March Community Advisory Council Meeting Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Triumph Church’s East Campus. The countdown to M-1 RAIL passenger ridership is on and there will be some adjustments to how you navigate the corridor. Please join M-1 RAIL for an important community conversation to learn about QLINE operations, testing schedule and the launch of our public safety education campaign.

This special CAC meetings will cover driving, cycling and walking along the Woodward Corridor, as we all now share the road. There will be a light dinner served and children’s activities will be available. There will also be sign language interpretation services available for community members who are deaf or hard of hearing. This meeting is open to ALL.
